Thanks for visiting the website of Joanna Kur – Domestic Cleaning Specialist.



These Terms explain how my service works and what you can expect when you choose to work with me or with any of the Cleaning Professionals I introduce.

Nothing here is meant to be scary or complicated — it’s just to keep everything clear for everyone involved.

 

1. Who I Am

 

I’m Joanna, a Domestic Cleaning Specialist based in London.



I run an introduction and coordination service, which means:

 

  • I find and introduce clients to self-employed Cleaning Professionals

  • I help both sides with communication

  • I support the cooperation if anything needs adjusting

  •  

I don’t run a cleaning agency and I don’t employ cleaners.

 

2. What My Service Includes

 

Here’s what I do:

 

  • I match clients with reliable, vetted Cleaning Professionals

  • I pass on client preferences to the cleaner

  • I help with scheduling and communication

  • I try to arrange cover if someone is away or sick

  • I keep client and cleaner details safe and confidential

  •  

I do not supervise cleaners’ work or control how they do their job.

 

3. About the Cleaning Professionals

 

All Cleaning Professionals I work with are self-employed, which means:

 

  • they decide which jobs they accept

  • they are responsible for their own insurance, taxes, and equipment

  • they are paid directly by clients

  • they work independently and at their own pace

  • they are responsible for the quality of their own work

  •  

My job is simply to introduce you and help things run smoothly.

 

4. Payments

 

Clients pay the cleaner directly, usually after each clean (unless you’ve agreed otherwise with them).

Cleaners then pay me a weekly service fee (commission).



This fee is the difference between:

 

  • what the client pays, and

  • the cleaner’s agreed Base Rate.

  •  

I don’t take any payments from clients and I don’t handle money on behalf of cleaners.

 

5. Rates

 

Each cleaner has their own Base Rate, agreed individually with me.Some jobs may have a higher rate — when that happens, I simply let the cleaner know and they choose whether to take it.

Clients always know the rate they pay.

Cleaners must not negotiate rates privately with clients.

 

6. Changing or Cancelling Appointments

 

If you’re a client:

Please give reasonable notice if you need to cancel or change a clean.

Late cancellations may mean the cleaner charges for their time.

 

If you’re a cleaner:

Please tell me as soon as possible if you can’t attend.

I’ll do my best to help the client with cover if needed.

 

7. Responsibilities & Conduct

 

Cleaning Professionals agree to:

  • work professionally and safely

  • keep client information strictly confidential

  • have valid Public Liability Insurance

  • communicate through me if there are any issues

  • not approach clients privately for extra work

  •  

Clients agree to:

  • treat cleaners with respect

  • pay promptly

  • make sure the home is accessible and safe to work in

  • communicate changes through me

  •  

8. Liability

 

Because cleaners are self-employed, they are responsible for their own work.

I can’t be held liable for:

  • loss or damage in the client’s home

  • disputes about cleaning quality

  • accidents, injuries, or breakages

  •  

That said — if there’s ever an issue, I’m always happy to help find a fair resolution.

 

9. Your Privacy

 

I respect your privacy completely.

Client details are shared only with the cleaner who is attending, and only so they can do their job.

Please don’t copy or reuse anything without permission.
